Crunchy Peanut Butter Brownies

Tools + Supplies
9x13 pan
sauce pan
stand mixer with paddle attachment and metal bowl
rubber spatula
parchment paper or cooking spray
Ingredients
.75 cup unsalted butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 eggs, room temperature
1.5 cups flour
.5 cup of crunchy peanut butter
additional .5 tbsp butter
Instructions
If you don't have time to bake from scratch, you can use a box mix and skip down to the sixth step, where you melt the peanut butter in a saucepan.
Preheat oven to 350
Using sauce pan and metal bowl from stand mixer, create a double boiler on the stove top. Melt the .75 cup of butter and chocolate chips together
Attach metal bowl to stand mixer. Using the paddle attachment, mix sugar and vanilla extract into chocolate mixture on low speed
Alternate adding flour and eggs, one at a time, fully incorporating on each step.
Pour batter into 9x13 pan (greased or lined with -parchment paper)
In a saucepan, melt peanut butter and .5 tbsp of butter together until mixture is liquid enough to pour
pour peanut butter mixture over brownies in lines. Then swirl with a chopstick or toothpick
bake for 25-30 minutes. let cool completely before cutting
