Soft & Chewy Heath Cookies

Ingredients
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
.5 teaspoon baking soda
.5 teaspoon baking powder
.5 teaspoon salt
2 cups light brown sugar
1 stick unsalted butter (room temp)
2 eggs (room temp)
.5 tsp vanilla extract
1.5 cup heath pieces
Instructions
preheat oven to 350
mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in mixing bowl. set aside.
mix brown sugar and butter in stand mixer until light and fluffy. Then add vanilla and eggs, one at a time until fully incorporated. Then add dry ingredients, until just mixed. Last, add heath bits.
drop the dough by the spoonful on the baking sheet, about 2-3 inches apart. bake on middle rack for 11-13 minutes. Cool on the pan for 1-3 minutes, then place cookies on cooling rack.
